About This Role
Mercor is seeking radiologists to support a collaboration with one of the world’s leading AI research laboratories.

We welcome applications from radiologists across all diagnostic subspecialties, with particular demand for Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology experts. This role focuses on evaluating the ability of large language models to answer advanced, real-world radiology cases. You will design expert-level diagnostic and reasoning challenges that current models struggle to answer and provide authoritative, gold-standard solutions.

You’re a good fit if you:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Third or Fourth year in an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency (only PGY-4+)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Currently based in the United States
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strongly Preferred

  • Training in Musculoskeletal Radiology and/or Neuroradiology
  • Academic or teaching experience (residents, fellows, conferences)
  • Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or rubrics
  • Background in complex MRI interpretation or subspecialty-heavy workflows

Here are more details about the role:

  • Develop gold-standard answers with clear diagnostic reasoning
  • Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differentials, and multimodal reasoning, particularly in MSK and neuroradiology
  • Collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab
  • Provide feedback on common failure modes in model reasoning

Screening Process:

  • You will complete a short interview (approximately 20–30 minutes total)
  • The interview will explore your clinical background and subspecialty expertise
