About This Role
Mercor is hiring American Voice Actors for a short-term project. Participants will work directly with a leading AI lab to improve their AI model's ability to handle and produce audio data.

Professional experience in Voice Acting is greatly preferred but not required. We welcome people with speaking and audio experience through Music, Television, Podcasts, Twitch Streaming, Comedy, Youtube, Radio, or other related fields!

You must be born and raised in the United States

You also need to be a native English speaker.

Some details about the project logistics:

  • It will last roughly 1-2 weeks from your start date.
  • Participants will be paid $250 USD per finished hour (based on length of submitted audio).
  • You'll need to be able to commit between 2-10 hours/week for the duration of the project.
  • Project start date is Monday, March 9, 2026
- You will need to available for a kickoff call

Requirements

  • Ability to talk in a “customer service” voice— neutral to upbeat tone with clear enunciation and consistent pacing
  • Attention to details on punctuation, commas, dashes. For this project, it is very important you are able to record transcripts exactly as written or edit them to reflect natural pacing.
  • Having a professional audio recording setup (i.e, a home studio with a professional grade mic, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, editing software for post production).
